Refund Policy – AI Writer Suite

1. Overview

AI Writer Suite is committed to fairness and transparency. This Refund Policy explains your rights and the procedures related to refunds under our subscription plans.

2. Refund Eligibility & Period

We offer a 14-day refund window from your initial or renewal payment for new or ongoing subscriptions.
Refunds cover the unused portion of your subscription term, prorated based on remaining days.
Requests made after 14 days are generally ineligible unless we determine hardship or system error occurred.

3. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please:

Contact us via email at refund@aiwritersuite.com or through the in-app support/chat within 14 days of the charge.
Provide your account email, invoice/transaction ID, date of charge, and reason for requesting a refund.

4. Processing Time & Method

Approved refunds are processed via the original payment method within 5–14 business days, depending on your bank or card provider.
Processor fees may still apply; we refund the full amount charged to you, though part may cover unavoidable transaction costs.

5. Non‑Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued for:

Requests made after the 14-day window.
Misuse or violation of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy.
Downgrades, expired trials, or partial-to-lower-level credits.
Promotional or discounted/custom enterprise plan exceptions, unless stated.

6. Cancellations Without Refunds

You may cancel anytime to avoid future charges. Access remains until the end of the current billing cycle, but no refund will be issued for unused portions unless within the 14-day window.

7. Chargebacks & Disputes

We strongly encourage requesting a refund via the above process instead of initiating a chargeback.
If you file a chargeback without prior contact, we reserve the right to charge an administrative fee and dispute it per processor guidelines.
Excessive chargebacks may result in account suspension or permanent termination.

8. Exceptions & Special Cases

In certain situations (technical system failures, promotional entitlements), we may offer:

Full or partial refunds
Account credits
Extended trial periods or account support
These are granted at our discretion.

9. Communication & Records

Refund status is communicated via email or in-app notifications within 48 hours. Acknowledgement of received requests happens within a few hours of submission.

10. Financial Provisions

Consistent with SaaS accounting standards, we reserve for refunds in our recurring revenue recognition process to ensure smooth financial operations.

11. Policy Updates

We may update this policy over time. Any material change will be communicated via email or in-app alerts 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after updates indicates acceptance.
